Toad, Ratty and Mole by the sea

The classic tale of Wind In The Willows is the latest in the weekly season of outdoor plays at Lowther Gardens.

Featuring the adventures of Mr Toad, Mole, Ratty and friends down by the riverbank and at Toad Hall, the production by the Storytellers Theatre Company takes place in the Rose Garden at the Lytham venue on Wednesday, at 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

Pendle Productions, in its 30th anniversary year, is headed by artistic director Tim Lince.

He said: “Performing in Lytham is like coming home.

“The actors have always commented on how fantastic the audiences are at the Lowther.

“This is our eighth year of performing in Lytham and we are really hoping that this season we will be able to welcome back some old faces as well as inviting new members of the audience to become part of the success that is the outdoor family theatre season.”
