Theatre sails in to Leyland

Leyland Historical Society will host he four-strong Mikron Theatre Company at the Civic Centre on West Paddock.

Mikron is the only theatre company in the world to travel from job to job by narrow boat.

This enables members to reach places often neglected by other performers.

They will present Don’t Shoot the Messenger, a celebration of the postal service.

The plays focuses on an unsuspecting gunman who gets more than he bargains for when he holds up a sleepy village post office and the postmistress fights back.
