Originally directed by former artistic director Christopher Gable and choreographed by Massimo Moricone, it combines ballet and theatre to tell the fable of Ebenezer Scrooge and his magical night with three terrifying ghosts.

Award-winning Lez Brotherston set designs conjure up a traditional Victorian Christmas, while Carl Davis’s festive score blends classical music with traditional Christmas carols, played live by Northern Ballet Sinfonia and sung by the dancers.

An audience favourite for over 20 years, A Christmas Carol runs from Tuesday, 19th November, to Saturday, 23rd November.
