“I think it’s important to give people the opportunity to buy tickets online directly from the companies and also to provide plenty of convenient local ticket points.

“Sales are going extremely well and I think we are in for a successful season once again.”

Katy Helps takes the leading role of Elinor Dashwood in the opening production.

Katy, above, said: “The audience, always appreciative at Lytham, will be surprised at the amount of humour in the play. It’s a skilful adaptation of Austen’s novel by Laura Turner, who has established a national reputation.”

Tickets at £13 (concs £10/£6.50) are on sale now from Lytham Hall on 01253 736652.
