A Nightingale and the Frog

Penwortham’s own comedy star and confirmed singleton Dan Nightingale debates the idea in his brand new Edinburgh show, Love in a Time of Cholesterol.

But, before he gets to the Fringe next month, Dan exclusively gives his home audience a sneak preview tomorrow night at Preston’s Frog and Bucket Comedy Club, in Lords Walk.

The star of John Bishop’s Only Joking and one-time collaborator with TV star Josie Long, Nightingale was raised by strong women and has now reached the age where his family are putting pressure on him to find “that special girl”.

So the self confessed “emotionally literate wally” is in search of the perfect partnership - and waxes lyrical on love, life and general humorous misuse of an existence.

Time Out said of him: ‘Nightingale can make just about anything funny.’
