I’m H-A-P-P-Y, only Wehn I laugh

Star of numerous TV panel shows and Channel 4 series An Immigrant’s Guide to Britain, Henning presents his new show ‘Eins, Zwei, DIY’ at the Charter Theatre in Preston’s Guild Hall on Thursday (October 15).

A spokesman for Wehn said of the stand-up: “This is not the easiest of jobs because Germans allegedly do not have a sense of humour.

“Henning does not find that funny.”

Wehn’s comedy career began in 2003 after watching an open mic night that left him convinced he couldn’t be all that much worse.

Wehn has performed as the self-styled ‘German Comedy Ambassador’ ever since.

Opinion on his stand-up is divided. While Henning sees himself as one of Britain’s foremost social commentators, everybody else describes him as ‘that German bloke’.
