James Dangerfield, born and educated in Lytham St Annes, will play the lead role of Orlando in a play made famous by the celebrated All the World’s a Stage speech in which Shakespeare paints a verbal picture of the Seven Ages of Man.

James feels that Illyria’s summer-long tour has made a promising start and is
relishing the chance to play to his hometown audience.

Julian Wilde, organiser of the Lytham Hall season, believes the audience is in for a treat.

“After a very successful if wet start with Pride and Prejudice in mid-June I am expecting this to be a special evening.
