Grim and Bare it for dark comedy at The Dukes

A dark, romantic comedy, Project XXX is produced and written by Kim Wiltshire (‘Joy with Child’) and Paul Hine, and explores the mainstream reach of internet porn, the changing face of technology and its impact on human relationships.

During a rainy summer in a northern seaside town Amy, a teenage feminist blogger, decides to show that sexual choice is firmly in the hands of women by persuading new love interest Callum to film her for a website.

But Callum has his own issues, from a mother on the edge of a nervous breakdown to an obsession with faded porn star Jaze.

Kim Wiltshire said: ‘We are excited to be taking the show on tour. It has been eye-opening and educative process for us as writers on many levels, and we are passionate about bringing this issue to the fore through the use of theatre.”
