From the mouths of babes comes the bard

Schools from across Lancashire will be joining one thousand schools from across the UK to take part in the country’s largest ever youth drama festival.

Shakespeare Schools Festival will see 25,000 pupils from 1,000 primary, secondary and special schools stage their own interpretations of the Bard on professional stages throughout the UK. Throughout October and November, 1,000 30-minute renditions of the Bard’s best loved plays will be brought to life; each evening seeing four different plays are showcased.

Preston pupils will perform at The Charter Theatre on November 6, 7 and 8.

Tickets are priced £8.50, concessions £6.50, schools/groups of 20 or more £6.
