Frog Christmas with a bang
Funnymen John Warburton and Mickey D roll out the barrell at the Frog and Bucket’s Christmas shows from tomorrow.
The pair star at the pre-Christmas Xmas Barrel of Laughs shows which kick off at the Lord’s Walk club.
Manchester comedian Warburton starred as Barry Sidwell on Coronation Street and also appeared opposite Robert Carlyle in action movie The Tournament.
Loaded dubbed him “Rock and roll – and very very funny” while The Sun says: “Brilliant. Watch out, Michael McIntyre.”
Australian comic Mickey D has gigged worldwide from Johannesburg to Zagreb, Kigali, New York, London, Brussels, Amsterdam and Dublin and starred on BBC2’s Comedy Shuffle.
Introduced by compere Toby Hadoke, the pair are followed by the Frog’s resident DJ playing tunes until late. Doors open at 7pm each night and tickets are £12 on Thursday and £16 on Friday and Saturday.
