Back by popular demand, the Jongleurs comedy night is back at the seafront venue tonight.

Four up-and coming comedians from the famous club will treat the audience to a unique – and very funny – take on life.

And it might be worth keeping hold of the programme – some of these entertainers may be household names in the future.

After all, Jongleurs is famous for its illustrious list of past members who cut their teeth on the Jongleurs circuit before becoming huge stars.

On this week’s bill are Ste Porter, John Ryan and Daliso Chaponda joined by compère Kevin Dewsbury, all of whom are already making a name for themselves.

Ste Porter is known for his quick wit. He is now a resident MC at Liverpool’s Laughterhouse, and is widely regarded as Liverpool’s next big comedy talent.

John Ryan, who has an East End Irish background, uses his acerbic wit and seemingly encyclopaedic knowledge of the world around him to keep any audience on their toes! He has already won an award at the Edinburgh Festival.

Daliso Chaponda started his comedy career in Canada and his shows included his sell-out Don’t Let Them Deport Me Comedy Show followed by the equally acclaimed They’re Deporting Him Anyway Show.

And compère for the night, Kevin Dewsbury, is a Cheshire lad who is a trained actor and excels at funny characters.

The show, which begins at 8pm, is for over-18s only.

Tickets are £12 each or £10 if you book 10, and they are available from the box office.
