Frank questions led to John
John, the latest work from multi-award-winning DV8 Physical Theatre, co-produced with the National Theatre, comes to The Lowry in Salford for two nights next week.
DV8 artistic director Lloyd Newson interviewed more than 50 men asking frank questions, initially about love and sex. One of those men was John.
What emerged was a story that is both extraordinary and touching.

Hide AdYears of crime, drug use and struggling to survive leads John on a search in which his life converges with others in an unexpected place.
The resulting performance authentically depicts real-life stories, combining movement and spoken word.
It contains adult themes, strong language and nudity, and is suitable for an audience 16 years and older.
