Eddie set to milk applause

Eddie’s ‘Gold Top’ of the Pops is the work of renowned theatre company Bad Apple Theatre and the creative team behind the sell-out success Lights Out Land Girls.

The family show takes the audience back to the swinging 1960s with a fantastic family musical about a milkman and his band
determined to hit the big time.

Eddie, a hard working music-mad milkman from Bottledale dreams of stardom and success as the cream of the crop on Top of The Pops.

Unfortunately Eddie’s career as a milkman has been skimmed by a deathbed promise to his father – who asks him to never miss a delivery for the good people of the village.

However, Eddie’s date with stardom calls and by accident, he becomes the mega pop superstar he had always envisioned.

When things take a churn for the worse, Eddie faces a choice between enjoying his big break on Top of the Pops and delivering the milk.

The show is supported by the National Lottery and Arts Council England and delivered in conjunction with Wyre Borough Council and Spot On – Lancashire’s rural touring network.

It comes exclusively to Bleasdale Parish Hall on Thursday, September 19 from 7.30pm and to Samlesbury War Memorial Hall at 7.30pm on Friday, September 20.

The show is suitable for anyone aged eight and above. Tickets cost £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for children.
