Based on the award-winning picture book by Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks, this popular show arrives at the city’s Charter Theatre. for two days on Thursday and Friday November 21 and 22.

On Thursday, kids and families can enjoy a matinee at 1.30pm while a morning show goes ahead on 10am.

Set in the farmyard, the show revolves around two crafty robbers and one tiny ladybird as Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len have a cunning plan to steal the farmer’s fine prize cow.

But the smallest, quietest creature of all has a plan of her own to save the day.

Julia Donaldson (pictured with fans) is one of the UK’s most successful children’s writers, author of The Gruffalo and The Tiger Who Came to Tea. Tickets are now on sale, priced £11 or £8.50 each for school visitors on 0845 344 2012.
