Brassed Off to play in Bolton
The Octagon Theatre in Bolton hosts one of the UK’s best-loved comedy dramas: Brassed Off, at the end of its national tour.
The play coincides with the 30th anniversary of the miners’ strike, and is based on a true story and the 1996 film, starring Pete Postlethwaite and Tara Fitzgerald, written by Mark Herman.
Taking on the role of the band conductor Danny is John McArdle who has performed several times on the Octagon stage, most recently in The Queen of the North.
