Blood Brothers hits the county
Hailed as one of the best musicals of all time, Blood Brothers has triumphed across the globe, with no less than four awards for best musical in London and seven Tony Award nominations on Broadway.
This epic tale of Liverpool life ran in London’s West End for 24 years and has toured the UK since 1995, telling the moving story of twin boys separated at birth, reunited by a twist of fate and a mother’s haunting secret.

Hide AdA memorable score includes A Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True, with Mrs Johnstone, played by Maureen Nolan, a young mum deserted by her husband, left to her own devices to provide for seven hungry children, taking a job as a housekeeper in order to make ends meet.
A great cast, show-stopping music, remarkable staging and five star performances are promised in an enthralling night of entertainment penned by Willy Russell, whose credits include Educating Rita and Shirley Valentine.
