From bed and board to treading the boards
Calling all hoteliers. An exclusive hoteliers night has been organised in the new family bar Pirate's Bay on Central Pier on June 16 at 7pm.
It aims to show local landladies and landlords just what’s on the bill at all three Blackpool piers this year.
It’s a first for the Sedgwick family as owners of South, Central and North piers, three of the most historic piers on the British coast.
Press calls have been regularly hosted but hotelier events tend to be held elsewhere to showcase what the season holds - particularly for such a potentially influential audience. Hoteliers tend to be the first port of call for guests looking for where to go and what to see.
The event offers a sneak preview of the entertainment across all three piers this summer.
It will be hosted by Joey Blower, on his best behaviour, as a stalwart of the summer season at North Pier himself.
Guests will enjoy a preview of the summer show in Central Pier show bar - Kings and Queens, a musical tribute to legends Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson, along with the summer panto at North Pier Theatre: The Wizard of Oz.
