Surprises in store at LP launch

Preston-based Evil Blizzard are to return to The Mad Ferret with a free show to launch their new album.

The band are performing on Saturday, October 19, with support from Cat Called Dog and Strange Rooftops.

The noise laden wonders are led by Mark Whiteside of This Dirty Swamp and Superthrill.

Their line-up also includes Stoko (of Baboon) on bass.

Promoters have advised that ‘anything is possible at an Evil Blizzard gig’. The band has previously toured with The Fall and supported the likes of Bo Ningen.

Cat Called Dog (from Skelmersdale/Preston) are a new duo formed by members of Red Winter Kapital and Sellenium.

They impressed on their debut at The Mad Ferret a few months ago and have supported the likes of Rook and The Ravens.

The show gets underway at 8pm.
