Strutting their stuff at Blitz

British rock’s most theatrical new band is on its way to Preston next month.

The Struts come on like Queen overdrive, matching a blaze of flamboyance, style and attitude to a catalogue of massive unstoppable tunes!

Raucous, tongue-in-cheek, yet seriously driven, the Derby four-piece are the most swaggering, staggering, stadium worthy outfit out there and they will play Preston’s Blitz club on Friday November 1.

Combining sensational musicianship with no-nonsense, straight up balls-to-the-wall rock ‘n’ roll, the final piece in the jigsaw is frontman Luke Spiller with his good old fashioned rock showmanship.

Channelling rock royalty (think Mercury, think Jagger, think Bowie) Spiller holds the crowd, draws them in and spits them back out again.

The band’s debut album ‘Everybody Wants’ hit the charts in July of this year, and a relentless touring schedule has seen the band pick up a devoted following across the UK and Europe.

Fresh from mega-support slots with the Rolling Stones (at Stade de France) and Black Sabbath (Hyde Park) this is a band on the rapid rise and here is a rare chance to catch them up close in an intimate venue.
