Simply Sinfionetta at Minster
To celebrate the close of Lancashire Sinfionetta’s 17th illustrious season, a programme full of inspiration and unforgettable melodies from some of the finest and best-loved works in the classical repertoire will be performed at Preston’s Minster, St John Street on Saturday.
Directed by the violinist Andrew Watkinson, our orchestra features a melting pot of world class musicians including Preston-born Peter Sparks, one of the leading clarinettists in the UK who will perform Mozart’s superb Clarinet Concerto followed by the sparkling and brilliant Beethoven’s Symphony No.7.
A standard ticket costs £15.50, with concessions and student rates available.
A free pre-show talk will take place at 6.45pm before the concert at 7.30pm.
