Sam’s winter date at the Garden

The girl from Leicester has been on an incredible rollercoaster ride through the fairground of fame and fortune since she stole the hearts of the nation and blew away millions of TV viewers on X-Factor.

She plays the Winter Gardens on February 10.

In March she released her album The Power Of Love, which became the fastest selling album of the year, going gold within three weeks.

She also released her autobiography Daring to Dream.

The former prison officer has experienced dreams becoming reality; including an incredible No. 1 with her debut single ‘Skyscraper’, supporting Beyonce on her current tour, performing with her idol Michael Bolton at the National Television Awards and now her own headline tour.

“I’ve been performing since I was 15 but I never got to where I wanted to be.

“Then real life, needing to pay bills, marriage and children happened and you just put everything on hold. X-Factor gave a woman like me a chance.

“It gave me my confidence back, it gave me music back, and this is for all those people out there who believed in me!”

Sam was taken to the hearts of X Factor viewers in a way few contestants before or since have managed.

She attracted more than a million votes over the course of the two-day weekend final, and when the voting statistics for the series were announced afterwards,it emerged that Bailey had received the most public votes a staggering seven times out of ten.

Having wowed fans up and down the country headlining the X-Factor Tour last year Sam is now on her own headline tour and is at the Winter Gardens on February 10.
