The band, frontrunners of the 1970s New Wave of British Heavy Metal craze, break away from their tour with icons Motorhead, for three dates alone.

The Barnsley band, who influenced rockers from Metallica to Guns and Roses, aim to revisit audiences in places where they last played decades ago in tribute to loyal fans.

Singer Biff Byford said: “We’re looking forward to being out with our mates Motorhead again – it’s always great for the fans when the two bands get together.”

Tickets are £22.50 plus booking fee on www.lancashiretickets.co.uk
