The fivepiece hardcore hip hop fusionists from Milton Keynes take to the stage at the venue’s upstairs club room with support from The Algorithm and Shields.

Led by guitarist Timfy James, the band describe their unique fusion of quick fire rhyming with Meshuggah-style riffing, known as djent, as “a fluke.”

It came about when Timfy was recording some grime tracks with his friend MC J Hurley, who overheard him tinkering with a metal track and asked if he could put some rhymes over it.

Hacktivist released their debut digital single, Unlike Us, and saw it zoom to Number Two on Amazon’s metal charts within two days.

They have supported electronicore stars Enter Shikari on tour and are catching the ears of metalcore fusionists everywhere.

Tickets for their 53 Degrees show are still on sale, priced at £8 plus booking fee.

Doors open at 7pm for this 14 plus show.
