The six piece, led by singer Jon-Lee Martin, recently won a three album deal with Hatch Records, and delight in naming their records after places in Chorley.

They sparked a label bidding war after rock band Biffy Clyro became fans of theirs and invited them to play a show with them.

They appear at the Top Lock with support from Rook and The Ravens, Steph Fraser, Matthew Cogley and George Harris And The Memory Makers.

Only a few tickets remain on sale, priced at £5, with less than a dozen available from the bar at the Top Lock, in Copthurst Lane, Chorley.

The annual Christmas party, organised for the last four years by another popular local musician, Seamus McLoughlin, brings together the cream of the acts he has seen in the last 12 months.

Bands play in a large marquee behind the venue, complete with licenced bar.

Seamus said: “It’s always a huge success. Last year we put the concert on at the back in the marquee because it was just getting too busy in the pub. So this year will be the same – the only difference is that we will have a small bar in there.”
