Why did I not do one the other week? Well I did write one but it was so boring I did not submit it as I have done so much, but on paper seems so little. Last week has been more of the same really and it really is the quiet before the storm with seven shows in seven weeks coming up.

The PCW Academy is really starting out well. Students are enjoying being a part of it and slowly we are getting the building exactly how I want it. We had a guest trainer in former WWE Star Gangrel last week. Regular tutors T-Bone, Bubblegum and Joey have been putting the class through their paces last week with hundreds of squats and cardio drills. We also filmed a pilot for our new web show the other weekend using the mock TV studio. Weekend just gone there was no classes. It meant a long over due rest for me.

I worked three nights on the doors last week to raise money to get my van repaired. The van stopped on the M6 when my wife borrowed it. It cost me one hundred pounds just to get it towed to the garage. Another sixty pounds just to get the mechanic to look at it and to be told there is no fuel in it, well that’s valentines day cancelled as I was raging. Naturally the wife blames the fuel gauge being wrong but I know she was really thinking vans drive around powered by thin air and petrol stations are for soft drinks and sweets.

I am now one month from the next PCW event and it is really time to step up my promotion campaign. I have flights and hotels all arrange so its just hammering the promotion side of the event. I had five thousand flyers for Preston North End vs Manchester United. While most will not be wrestling fans its all about the sheer volume of people and the numbers game. If I promote to a hundred people then I might find one or two new fans but fifteen thousand and I might sell fifty tickets. Even ten tickets is two hundred pounds so not bad for a nights work. You have to put the time and effort in to get the rewards though. Many forget that part and wonder why they have an empty room when attempting to be a promoter.
