From Saturday March 14 the interior set of The Kabin will be an iconic new stop-off as part of the guided tour, giving visitors the chance to see inside the famous newsagents which has been the centre of many dramatic, humorous and emotional scenes over the years. It is also the focal point for many of the witty exchanges between the much-loved Rita and Norris.

Out on the cobbles a number of the exterior sets have been opened up so visitors can now take a peek inside Websters’ Auto Centre which has been dressed to replicate Kev and Tyrone’s workshop and Prima Doner, the first exterior set which fans can pop inside for a selfie in front of the counter and immerse themselves in the ultimate Corrie experience.

Coronation Street The Tour provides guests with a fifty minute guided tour which takes them behind the scenes of the television studio where Coronation Street was filmed for over fifty years. The tour follows the path that the stars would have taken starting in the green room, going down the corridor with dressing rooms belonging to some of the show’s longest standing cast members, into wardrobe to see iconic outfits and then into the studio where filming took place. A selection of interior sets are on display including Carla’s flat, the Platt and Duckworth homes and Underworld. There is also an opportunity to have a photo taken behind the bar of the Rovers Return.

The Tour will remain open throughout 2015, tickets are available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk/coronationstreet.
