The line-up at Preston Playhouse on Wednesday evening from 7.30pm includes pop from students of Jopson Music Academy, a saxophone quartet from Runshaw College and last year’s BBC Young Chorister of the Year, Louisa Stirland, right, whose amazing soprano voice was heard at the Festival launch in the Minster last Sunday.

In addition we have Strings Attached, a young folk group playing Celtic music and other styles on chamber instruments, and headline act, the phenomenal young percussionist Elliott Gaston-Ross.

Elliott recently won the percussion section of the BBC Young Musician of the Year and was one of the three finalists in the overall competition – a rare opportunity to see a musician of such potential.

Tickets are £8 (£7 concessions) and can be booked on 07583731034 or on-line at www.prestonplayhouse.com

Proceeds will be donated to the Preston Playhouse Development Fund.
