They began their career playing in country music bands around Ireland in the 1970s but soon found that they could command plenty of attention as a duo.

Although they found it tough to begin with, they released their first single record The Rambles of Spring and this made a good impact on the Irish market.

Soon they were in demand for cabaret venues all over Ireland and to a lessor extent the UK, and at the end of 1978 they released the single A Bunch of Thyme in Ireland.

It soon entered the Irish charts and became their first top-selling number one single, staying in the Irish charts for 40 consecutive weeks and re-entering for a further 13 weeks.

Since then they have never looked back and have toured the USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania as well as the UK, and have appeared on TV shows in Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales.

Tickets are £20 and are available from the box office on 01524 6469.
