Mike Dignam is enjoying a park life

Preston’s Mike Dignam is toasting his chart success with a nationwide parks tour.

His new EP Live Love Sing reached number 5 on the iTunes Singer/ Songwriter album charts.

His UK Park Tour started at the weekend and will continue until August 22 with a free show at the Urbis venue in Manchester on Monday 19.

Mike will also have his ‘Great Escape’ tour beginning on September 19 at Sound Control in Manchester. In 2008 at 18, Mike independently released his debut LP ‘World of Our Own’ alongside performing at ‘Rock in the Park’ with JLS, Tiao Cruz and Mr Hudson.

The acoustic artist then went on to support acts like Gabrielle Aplin, Lewis Watson and Lawson on UK tours. It was the release of his second studio EP ‘Paint’ that led to a European tour with street performances and pop-up gigs in France, Germany and Austria.
