Britain’s greatest living violinist is in the North West next month with a world-acclaimed programme which is returning to Britain after a sell-out tour of the nation earlier this year

Nigel Kennedy has taken his Bach Plus Concert Series around the world and, after a staggering response, has added eight further dates across the UK over summer.

The only North West date is at Southport Theatre on Saturday, June 28.

The concert takes the listener on a journey which begins with Bach sonatas and partitas for solo violin, after which Kennedy is joined by two acoustic guitarists, a drummer and a double bass to perform his own arrangements of some of his favourite music.

The best-selling violinist of all time, Kennedy is acknowledged as one of the world’s leading musicians.

Nigel Kennedy is at Southport Theatre on Saturday, June 28, from 7.30pm.
