On Tuesday, from 6pm, Graham Mort will launch his new collection ‘Terroir’ at the city’s library.

Graham’s latest collection of ‘longer short stories’ explores the relationships between father and child; husband and wife; man and his environment.

Whether fulfilling or challenging, these relationships make us question our place within the world and interactions with those around us.

Then, on July 3 at The Storey, writers on Jenn Ashworth’s ‘Short Shrift’ writing course will come together to present their work, developed over the past few months.

Tickets for the ‘Terroir’ launch are £2, and entry to the ‘Short Shrift’ event is free but booking in advance is recommended.
