The last Fleetwood Folk Carnival
Having celebrated his 80th birthday, Alan Bell, the founder and director of the famous and internationally known Fylde Folk Festival is to retire.
Consequently, the 2014 Festival to be staged in Fleetwood over the weekend of August 29-31, will be the final Fylde folk festival.
The 42nd and last event will have more than 120 events, featuring over 200 singers, dancers and musicians, in 11 venues throughout Fleetwood in concerts and sessions.
Alan will hold the discounted price for a three-day weekend ticket at £75 until July 31.
