It’s a chance to join in with jobs done by staff at the institution and find out what goes on behind the scenes.

Hide AdThe kids get to test out the new History Trail and tell staff what needs improving and discover what creepy crawlies live in a museum and how to stop them wrecking the exhibits.
They can also take inspiration from the Masterstrokes exhibition and create their own masterpiece before deciding how best to display it in a mini-gallery.
They can work alongside Visitor Services and find out how to guide visitors around on a museum tour.
And they can also have a go at digging for treasure in the Harris’s own Archaeological Trench. Entry is free and there is no need to book.
