Synchronising live music, performance and storytelling with films and animation this is a wickedly twisted international tale described as “a giant graphic novel bursting into life”.

The story is based in the Bayou, a feared and loathed part of the city, and a sprawling tenement block. When Agnes Eaves and her daughter arrive late one night, does it signal hope in this hopeless place, or has the real horror only just begun?

The Dukes and Live at LICA have joined forces to bring The Animals and Children Took To The Streets to Lancaster.

Following the November 7 performance there will be a talkback with members of the 1927 theatre company which is free to ticketholders.
