The fair returns to its regular home at the New Continental pub, in South Meadow Lane, Preston, this Sunday.

And, in addition to all the usual treats you’d expect, the fair, which runs from noon until 5pm, will have a special Christmas flavour.

Organiser Stevie Guy said: “Christmas is just around the corner and we’re here to help you with your Christmas shopping.

“On Sunday December 1, we will fill the Continental with vintage and hand-made stalls, mulled wine, mince pies, cakes and much more. So eat, drink, be merry and join us for a Christmas sing-a-long.”

And, as an early Christmas present to their customers, entry to the fair will be free.

There will be stalls to browse through from all the fair’s regular traders, with goodies on offer from The Vintage Wardrobe, Boo-tique Illustration, The Big Red Polka Dot and many more.

It’s a great place to pick up hand-made gifts. A great selection of cakes and sweet treats will be on sale and there will also be mulled wine and mince piece on offer to warm up the festive shoppers.

The crowds will also be entertained with some great live music from a carefully chosen selection of the best local bands.

The Riverside Vintage fair has now been running regularly at the Continental for a year and also organised a very successful summer festival on Avenham Park in July this year.

So for all your Christmas shopping needs and some fun and frolics besides, go along to the New Continental this Sunday and get your festive season off to a great start.
