Guitar heroine Chantel rockin’ back

She is playing with her band at Burnley Mechanics on Sunday, November 30, and is promising a night to remember.

In 2013 Chantel became the first female artist to be voted ‘Guitarist of the Year’ in the history of the British Blues Awards – and then stunned the male dominated blues world by being named Guitarist of The Year for a second year in succession!

This last month, Chantel has been working with her band on pre-production rehearsals of her new material, and she says the results so far are more likely to draw comparisons with contemporary chart rock artists than the guitar greats of yesteryear with whom Chantel is usually associated.
