The album, entitled Night in Calisia, received the Grammy Award 2014 in a category called Best Large Jazz Ensemble
Album. It is the first ever Grammy Award for a Polish jazz musician.

Derek Smith, of Preston Twinning Partnership, said the partnership heard the good news this month. He said: “We were notified they were nominated for this award in November and we told them Preston was wishing them every success. We have a good relationship between Preston and Kalisz. Kalisz is a city of culture.”
