And they will be throwing a few carefully chosen covers into the mix too.

The Gentrymen formed when the two Sams came together and began writing songs, soon to be joined by pianist Sean.

Before long, they had evolved from two guitars and a piano to include mandolin, accordion, harmonica, banjo, tambourine, lots of vocals and even a big bass drum!

Independent Music News said of them: “The Gentrymen collect emotions, events and modern and contemporary views, while painting an image with different strokes of musical masterpiece.”

Tickets are £5 plus booking fee for the 14 plus show in the intimate upstairs club room at the Brook Street venue. Doors open at 7.30pm.
