Ghost tales for Longest Night

A Winter Ghost Stories session to celebrate the longest night of the year comes to the Harris Museum this week.

The session, called The Longest Night – Five Curious Tales, which is on Wednesday December 11, is a special preview of a new collection of contemporary ghost stories, illustrated by Beth Ward, which is out soon,

Three of the authors who have contributed to the collection will be reading their spooky tales aloud at the event, including acclaimed Preston author Jenn 
Ashworth.

She will be joined by fellow writers Tom Fletcher and Richard Hirst to recount their stories in a spooky setting of the Harris at night from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Entry is just £4 and the admission price includes a complimentary drink and a mince pie.

There will be a licenced bar and other refreshments on offer at the storytelling night, which is aimed at adults.

Youngsters aged 12 and above are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
