Preston’s got talent aplenty, on display at the city’s Guild Hall next week.
From Monday to Friday the annual Festival For Schools – the longest-running event of its kind in the country – celebrates its 68th year.

Hide AdThe theme for 2014 is Things to Do and will involve more than 900 children, aged from seven to 11, from around 30 primary schools singing, dancing, acting and playing recorders.
Audience will be treated to a musical and dancing tour of songs and dance, both old and new, with many children making their debut in front of a large audience.
Then next Friday and Saturday Preston College’s Dance Academy take the spotlight on the city’s youth with World at Your Feet 2014 in the Charter Theatre.
This fast paced dance show takes a journey around the globe with flavours of dance and music from across the continents.
