It may be an enormous cliché, but some things really are worth waiting for, and this New Year’s Eve, two of Preston’s best loved underground rave titans join forces for the very first time at the Adelphi.

For No Reason and Beats of Rage are set to adopt the city centre watering hole The Adelphi for their December 31 blow out.

The landmark bar and restaurant may seem like an odd choice of home for two of the city’s powerhouses of the dark and dingy, but this will not be the Adelphi you’re familiar with.

Sordid schemes are in place to transform the bar into a singular rave space, filled only with high end sound systems, minimal lighting and a hoard of dirty stop-outs.
