The venue, on Great Shaw Street off Friargate, will host a hotly-tipped three-piece – Jamie Walker, Stephen Mildwater and Luke Paget – on Saturday.

The lads mix driving riffs with electronic samples and pulsing beats in organic dance rock and have been compared to Soulwax, Crowded House, Muse and Does It Offend You, Yeah?

They have supported Juliette Lewis on tour and played alongside acts such as The Prodigy, Editors, The Subways and Muse.

Jamie Walker, guitarist and vocalist, says: “When we play a show, we want the audience to leave feel ing l ike they’ve been to a club and a rock gig rolled into one”.

Stephen, bassist and backing vocalist, adds: “The goal with our music is to make you mosh your head and wiggle your ass at the same time, delivering a show filled with energy”.
