France’s turn at Blackpool fireworks show

France will tonight attempt to wow the crowds and judges in the latest round of Blackpool’s fireworks championships.

Following China last week, the French team will take to North Pier to make their bid for the coveted title.

Thousands of people lined the Prom last week for the curtain-raiser to this year’s event.

It starts at 8.30pm but thrillseekers are advised to get there early.
