The screenings, under the Cinema around the Corner banner, come following the success of the Cinema on the Steps event on the Harris Flights in Preston.

Organised by arts organisation They Eat Culture, the screenings will take place on the weekend of Friday, October 25 to Sunday, October 27 in the Fishwick and St Matthew’s wards of Preston.

The new screenings will include a mixture of family films, blockbusters and cult classics.

There will also be workshops, music, food stalls and more.

The free events are part of the organisation’s wider Cinema around the Corner initiative, BFI (British Film Institute) funded project focusing on co-programming and touring film across communities in Preston, around Lancashire.

All of the screenings are free of charge but the exact venues and films are to be confirmed.
