A Dazzling day in prospect

‘Revival’ will see a celebration of local arts, crafts, music, and food take over the stone square from 10am until 5pm.

Among the highlights will be a unique ‘art flash mob’ with more than 30 artists setting out to recreate the most famous portrait of all time – the Mona Lisa – right on to the flags themselves.
Each artist – working exclusively with washable paints and pastels – will be equipped with an image of the Mona Lisa in order to each recreate the image in their own unique way.
An array of stalls will be positioned in front of the Harris Art Gallery and Museum where local traders will showcase their wares, from vintage fashions, furnishings and objets d’art, alongside new hand-crafted goods.

More than a dozen local bands will play on the day, with the remarkable Mobius Loop closing out the day from around 4.15pm.
A spokeswoman for Dolly Dazzler said: “We aim to celebrate local individuals so they can inspire and encourage others.
“We understand the importance of reviving, recycling and up cycling, along with the promotion of local family businesses and the local economy.”
