Crowds flock to Garstang Show

The best of the British countryside was on display as crowds flocked to the 201st Garstang Agricultural and Horticultural Show.

With prizes up for grabs for everything from bumper bunnies to heavy horses the competition was fierce.

But there was plenty to enjoy away from the main arena.

TV presenter Rebecca Keatley and childrens’ musician Mr Yipadee were performing to entertain young visitors.

And for those looking for thrills and spills there was a live performance from the Adrenaline Tour - Quad Bike Display team.

There was also the opporunity to sample the best Lancashire produce with Cockerham salt marsh lamb and creamy Lancashire cheeses among the delights on offer.

With vintage tractors on display, Preston’s Trick Dogs showing off their skills and the sun shining, there was fun for all the family at the showground, off Green Lane East.
