Children aim to capture castle of their dreams
From 11am there will be opportunity for lots of painting and drawing, splodging and sticking, as children are inspired by their beautiful and historic surroundings to create the castle of their dreams.
Their mini-masterpieces will then be put before a panel of judges and the best effort chosen at 3pm.

Hide AdThe event is aimed at younger children between the ages of 3-7.
A spokesman for the tower said: ‘Children’s Art Week is a fantastic opportunity for children and families to enjoy and experience the visual arts.
“These experiences can inspire greater creativity in children and young people and have a positive impact in all areas of their lives.”
Meanwhile, a lot is going on elsewhere at the Tower, including a Classic Car show. The gardens and state rooms are open for guided tours (separate charges apply) so there is something for everyone.
