Chance to be King for a night

If the answer is yes to both these questions head to the North Pier’s Merrie England Bar in Blackpool next Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The venue will be hosting Return to Graceland – the Search for The King, which aims to track down the very best Elvis impersonator.

The competition is open to all Elvis tributes and amateurs alike who would like to be crowned the Merrie England Bar’s first ever King.

With a first prize of £1,000 and a 12-week contract performing at the venue during the 2014 summer season, there is plenty of reason to take part. All those who have registered compete in two semi-final heats and the winners will then move forward to perform in the final before a panel of celebrity judges.
