Big screen Bolshoi at The Dukes
World renowned ballet comes to The Dukes in Lancaster on Sunday afternoons, courtesy of special screenings from the Bolshoi.
Recorded versions of The Pharaoh’s Daughter and La Bayadere will be shown this Sunday and December 7 respectively.
The first tells the story of a young Englishman travelling through Egypt who is transported into the past when he is forced to shelter in a pyramid during a storm.
La Bayadere is the tale of two men in love with the same beautiful dancer, Nikiya.
