Big Country and more announce new gigs at 53
Along with the reformed anthemic rockers, the Brook Street venue has just announced it will host shows from comedian Justin Moorhouse, rock band To Kill a King and perennial comedy folk favourites, The Lancashire Hotpots.
Big Country arrive on Tuesday, October 22.
Fronted these days by Mike Peters of fellow 1980s outfit The Alarm, following the tragic suicide of singer Stuart Adamson, they will be playing songs from new album, The Journey, plus all the classic hits.

Hide AdTo Kill A King follow three days later on Friday, October 25 and Phoenix Nights star Justin Moorhouse tops the bill at the Stand and Deliver Comedy Club on November 7 while the Hotpots return for their now traditional Christmas show, always their last date of the year, on Saturday, December 7.
Tickets for Big Country are £20, those for To Kill a King are £8, for Justin Moorhouse £15 and for the Lancashire Hotpots £12. All on sale now from the box office on 01772 893000.
